1. Rohtang Pass

The Rohtang mountain pass lies 3,978 meters above sea level and is located on the eastern hills of the Pir Panjal Range. The world lies in a beautiful region with the Beas and Chenab rivers lying on the south and north sides of the Rohtang Pass. Rohtang Pass is famous for its spectacular views of the valley and the various hidden waterfalls. Rohtang Pass is a must-visit for your trip to Kullu-Manali.


2. Solang Valley 

Solang Valley is also known as 'Snow Point' and is famous for hosting various winter sports such as skiing, parachuting, paragliding, etc. Solang Valley is located at an altitude of 2,500 feet [2,560 m] and is one of the worst hotspots in the region. The views from this point are excellent and offer a view of the snow-capped peaks and glaciers.



3. Hadimba Temple

Located on a hilltop, the Hadimba Devi Temple is surrounded by dense jungles and was built in 1553. The temple is dedicated to Rakshasa Hidimba, who was also the wife of Pandava Bhima. The temple complex is constructed in a distinct architectural style that overlaps Indian architecture and is housed in Buddhist monasteries. The building is made of wood, mainly 70 meters from the temple, and is housed with a temple dedicated to Ghatotkacha, the son of Bima and Hidimba and a warrior of the Mahabharata war.

4. Beas River 

Beas River is in the heart of the Kullu Valley and has various camping and water sports facilities. The bees come from the Himalayas and flow some 400 miles [470 km] to the Sutlej River in Punjab. The river also marks the eastern border of the empire of Alexander the Great in 326 BC, who was forced to stop his journey here.


5. Manikaran 

An important place to visit for Hindus and Sikhs, Manikaran is a place associated with many myths and legends. Many tourists who come to Kullu Manali make it a point to stay here for a day to visit the tourist centers and hot springs and enjoy the refreshing breeze. A thermal power plant is also here.
