Hi guys! Today I am going to share my personal favorite recipe of creamy schezwan pasta. I made it many times at home, and everybody loved it. I don't cook so often. But when I tried this, I loved it so much that now every month I make it once.
So, now let's get into creamy schezwan pasta. This is a very easy one-pot dish that you can put together in a few minutes.
INGREDIENTS:-
Pasta: 1 cup
Milk: 1/2 cup
Cream: 1/2 cup (optional)
Butter: 1 tbsp
Maida, 1 tbsp
Diced Capsicum: 1
Diced Onion: 1
Diced Tomato: 1
Fine Chopped Garlic: 4
Schezwan Chutney or Schezwan Sauce: 1 tbsp
Black Pepper: 1/2 tbsp
Oregano Seasoning: 1/2 tbsp
Chilli Flakes: 1/2 tbsp
Salt as per your taste
For Garnishing: (Optional)
Chilli flakes: 1/4 tbsp
Oregano and mixed herbs seasoning: 1/4 tbsp
For Boiled Pasta:
1. Heat water in a pan; add salt and oil to it.
2. When the water boils, add the pasta and cook it uncovered until it becomes soft but firm. Keep stirring in between.
For Making Creamy Schezwan Sauce:
1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and add the finely chopped garlic. Bake until golden brown.
2. Now, add the diced capsicum, onion, and tomato; you can have an exotic vegetable of your choice. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add 1/2 tbsp of oregano seasoning, 1/2 tbsp of chilli flakes, and 1 tbsp of salt. This part will give a good smell to our mixture of vegetables.
4. Now, take another pan and put 1 tbsp butter and add 1 tbsp maida to it. After that, add milk and whisk. Add 1 tbsp. of Schezwan chutney or Schezwan sauce. You can add another 1/2 to 1 tablespoon if you like spicy food. Now, depending on the consistency of the sauce, slowly add milk to it.
Note: At this stage, the sauce should not be too thick. Once your sauce is not thick, then add the cooked vegetables to it.
5. After making a sauce of good consistency, add boiled pasta to it and mix it well.
The pasta is well coated with the sauce.
It may be garnished with chilli flakes, mixed herbs, oregano, herbs, and spices. Your creamy Schezwan pasta is ready to be served.
Hope you like the recipe. If you do, don't forget to share it.💓
